Alan Lane-Murcia

Responsible for managing First American Bank’s SBA Program including maintenance of its Preferred Lender Status under the Export Working Capital Program and the Export Express Program. Alan has 27 years of combined experience in the International Financing and the SBA Loan Guarantee Programs.
A former member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Financing Consulting Team, Alan currently serves in the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) Small Business Committee.
Alan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and International Studies from Wake Forest University and an MBA in International Economic Development from Eastern University.

Claudio Montoya

Claudio has 18 years of experience in commercial lending and franchise financing experience. He is widely recognized as an expert in commercial, small business and franchise lending and has originated in excess of $250 million in government guaranteed loans nationwide; he has worked with over 30 franchise concepts over the course of his banking career.
A former member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce Small Business Financing Consulting Team, Claudio is responsible for maintaining banking relationships and coordinating The Bankcorp’s lending process for small business nationwide. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance from Northeastern Illinois University.

Cristina Hernandez
Independent Management Consultant

A specialist in the areas of grant writing and professional management development Cristina is the former Director of Grant Resources at the Caribbean University. She also served as Assistant Dean for Research at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Director of Grant Resources at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. In addition, Cristina was the Director of Development at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Barranquitas Campus, and the Director of Esperanza Para La Vejez, Inc. (HOPE) in San Juan Puerto Rico.
A former Director at the Latin American Chamber of Commerce’s Chicago Procurement Assistance Center, Cristina was also the Human Resource Administrator at the Cook County Office of the Chief Judge and the Coordinator of Special Projects at the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office of Inquiry and Information. In addition, she served as the Recruitment Director at the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Department of Human Services.
Cristina earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Northeastern University in Chicago.

Daniel Ramir
Executive Director
Latino Worker Safety Center

Manages the overall operation of the Latino Worker Safety Center, a multi-lingual OSHA Compliance Training Center dedicated to providing approved Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Courses to workers in the construction and manufacturing trades. It also assists companies in meeting the Department of Labor’s OSHA Mandated Standards.
Dan earned a Construction Management Degree from Washtenaw Community College; He has 38 years of combined experience in Commercial, Industrial and Residential Construction.

Michael Palaguachi
Management Consultant

Mike served in the Marine Corps from 2008-2012 as a Radio Operator setting up radio and satellite communications systems in various countries.
A former member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Consulting Team, Mike provided contract procurement consulting services to Chicago’s small business and assisted client companies in the certification and bidding process. In 2014, he started a nonprofit organization dedicated to service veterans in the Greater Chicago Metropolitan Area and committed to build a strong veteran community in Chicago.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from DePaul University in 2015 and completed his MBA at Dominican University in 2018. In addition, he also completed the Executive Education Program at University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Mike brings to the team extensive knowledge in strategy, finance, accounting, information technology and marketing.

Vittorio M. Gomez

Founded and manages the company’s overall business operations. The Clover Group, LLC is a public affairs and communications firm with extensive expertise in City and State Government Affairs. The company provides its clients with efficient and timely services in the areas of public and community relations, media and lobbying government entities. Prior to starting the company Vittorio was the Communications Specialist with the Chicago Public Schools, the Deputy Director of Taxpayer Information and Consumer Affairs with the Illinois Comptroller’s Office and the Deputy Director of the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Office of Business and Workforce Diversity. He also is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Vittorio earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois.
